Hello everyone, please read, share and show up!
The Collier County school board will discuss an offensive and dangerous school board policy. The policy rejects the following “ideologies”: Gay Agenda, Black Lives Matter, Woke, Diversity Equity Inclusion, Critical Race Theory, Social Emotional Learning, and Antifa. The policy is proposed and developed by school board member Jerry Rutherford. To see policy details click here
We need everyone to speak out against this proposed policy. We mean everyone: parents, teachers, grandparents, siblings, students, and community members. We must use the power of our voices to stop this hateful policy before is too late.
To learn how you can help please join us Sunday, August 20 at 2:00 pm at the Naples Pride Center 2248 Airport Pulling Road South, Naples, Florida 34112. We will provide information and strategies about emailing school board members and speaking at the school board meeting. Our children’s future depends on our actions today!
