Hello, and welcome to “What’s the TEAching”!
Religion and faith play a huge role in many people’s lives. For some in the LGBTQ+ community, it has been a source of love and comfort, but for many others, it has caused deep struggle, shame, or even kept them from living openly as their true selves. Too often, people feel forced to choose between their faith and their identity.
That’s why we’re hosting this event — to open the conversation, share perspectives, and remind everyone that faith and LGBTQ+ identity do not have to be at odds. This is a chance to ask questions, learn, and hear from affirming local faith leaders and community members in a warm, welcoming space.
So grab a cup of tea, enjoy a sweet treat, and join us for an uplifting conversation with LGBTQ+ and allied faith members.
